Getting Started

Get Started with the Next Experience User Interface (UI) and Unified Navigation - [5 minutes] This is a basic overview of what Next Experience and Unified Navigation is. Great for admins and users who have not worked with Next Experience, and a great course to provide to your platform users who as part of your Next Experience implementation strategy.

Next Experience Unified Navigation Overview - [30 minutes] Course for admins on the ServiceNow Fundamentals learning path. This course will cover the elements of Next Experience, review Application Navigator, utilizing favorites, and other features of Unified Navigation.

Customize an Organization's ServiceNow Theme (San Diego) - [2 hours] Course for admins that covers theming in UI16, Next Experience UI, Service Portal, and Workspace. This course will deep dive into the differences between Core styles and Variants, and walk admins through creating a Next Experience UI theme.

Personalize your ServiceNow Theme (San Diego) - [20 minutes] Course for admins to understand how users can select different themes in UI16 versus Next Experience UI. This course does not cover how to create a theme, only how to select in User Preferences.

Self-Paced Training

Introduction to Next Experience UI Builder - [1 hour] Learn about UI Builder, this is an overview of what UI Builder is and how it can be used in experiences. 

Next Experience UI Builder Fundamentals (Tokyo) - [4 hours] Dive deeper into UI Builder. In this course developers will learn how to create and configure pages, add and configure components on a page, learn about page parameters and how they are used, create and use data resources with components, and learn how to use events, client state parameters, and client scripts on a page in an experience. 

Developer Site UI Builder Course - For developers who have taken the Next Experience UI Builder Fundamentals course on NowLearning and want to dive even deeper with pages, events, client-side interactions, data resources, and modals. 

Create an App from Scratch with App Engine Studio - For developers who want to know how to create workspace experiences from App Engine Studio applications.

Introduction to External Component Development and Deployment - [2 hours 5 minutes] Updated for San Diego. Learn about component development, how to download and work with the ServiceNow CLI, the ServiceNow Extension for Visual Studio Code, and how to deploy and use components in UI Builder.

Introduction to Playbooks and Process Automation Designer (San Diego) - [1 hour] Learn about Playbooks and Process Automation Designer and how Playbooks work within workspace experiences. This course is tailored to Agents, Process Owners, Workspace Administrators, and Citizen Developers. 

Playbooks and Process Automation Designer Fundamentals (San Diego) - [1 hour 45 minutes] This course focuses on adding Playbooks to workspace and is tailored to Agents, Process owners, Workspace Administrators, and Citizen Developers. Learn how to to customize default Playbooks using Process Automation Designer to create a visualized business process workflow.

 

Get Started with Platform Analytics in the Workspace - [3 hours] - In this training you get introduced to the Platform Analytics Workspace - a one-stop-shop for building visualizations and KPIs for Workspace users. You learn about the components of the workspace and focus on building quick and powerful visualizations using the In-Line Dashboard Editor.
